Method: don't follow recipes, improvise with untested recipes with untested ingredients.Result: Oversweet Rubarb compote with white chocolate mousse with gelatine lumps. It wasn't too bad once chilled.
Conclusions: don't improvise on unknown recipes. see renee's unknown alien vegetable.
MVD#1 was fennel which was a success.
Other exciting news, Marjolein (who was in Australia while douwe was in NL- kind of sub) and Justin have had a baby BOY (Timo Meijer, 30 May 2006).
